Projects

These are the projects I've spent the most time on over the past few years, most of them open source. Some are side projects, and the rest come from my role leading Developer Experience at Hookdeck. Each one is labelled with my part in it. Older work is mostly in my talks and on the blog.

Main Projects

  • pitwall listing Claude Code sessions by repo, with an open session showing its recap, to-dos and conversation

    CreatedSide project

    pitwall

A local web UI for running lots of Claude Code sessions at once. It shows which sessions need you and why, and lets you steer them and start new ones.

  • A terminal listing the webhook-skills repo: 813 skill directories, from 100ms-webhooks onwards

    CreatedHookdeck

    Webhook Skills

Agent Skills that teach coding agents to receive a provider's webhooks. It was my idea, and I built the format, test harness, generator and first providers. Gareth then scaled it to 813.

  • The output of hookdeck --help, listing commands including listen, gateway, connection and outpost

    Main contributorHookdeck

    Hookdeck CLI

Forwards webhooks to localhost and manages Hookdeck from the terminal. I've been its main contributor since 2023, adding connection management, an MCP server and Outpost support.

  • The Outpost banner: open-source outbound webhooks and event destinations infrastructure

    DX contributorHookdeck

    Outpost

Hookdeck's open-source infrastructure for sending webhooks to your customers, with over 1,000 GitHub stars. I worked on its docs, OpenAPI spec, SDKs and quickstarts.

  • The Hookdeck Event Gateway documentation home page

    Main contributorHookdeck

    Hookdeck Docs

The docs for Hookdeck's Event Gateway. I'm their biggest contributor, and lately I've focused on making them work for agents: Markdown pages, a generated CLI reference and tested examples.

  • The Hookdeck evals page comparing Claude Code and Codex across build, troubleshoot and recover tasks

    BuiltHookdeck

    Hookdeck Evals

A public benchmark of how well AI coding agents build with Hookdeck, failures included. I built the harness and scenarios, and Thomas, our product designer, designed the results page.

  • Claude Code using the bridge to wait for new GitHub issue comments and reporting each one as it arrives

    CreatedHookdeck

    MCP Events Bridge

Turns webhooks from GitHub, Stripe, Slack and other sources into MCP Events, so AI agents can react to them as they happen. Hookdeck's Event Gateway does the delivery.

  • A terminal listing the four skills: event-gateway, hookdeck, inspect and outpost

    CreatedHookdeck

    Hookdeck Agent Skills

Agent Skills for Hookdeck's own products, so a coding agent can set up Event Gateway and Outpost from the CLI.

Smaller Projects and Demos

  • An n8n workflow triggered by a Stripe event delivered through Hookdeck

    ContributorHookdeck

    n8n node for Hookdeck

Gareth's community node that triggers n8n workflows from Hookdeck events, and manages Hookdeck from n8n.

  • The Event Destinations initiative banner

    ContributorHookdeck

    Event Destinations

Alexandre Bouchard's initiative for event producers to deliver to the tools their consumers already use, such as Pub/Sub, SQS and Kafka.

  • The SupaVlog app recording a video

    CreatedHookdeck

    SupaVlog

An open-source vlog app starter kit, built with Supabase, Stream, Hookdeck and Next.js.

  • A diagram of webhooks passing through Hookdeck to a Vercel app via the middleware

    Co-built with JM NavarroHookdeck

    Hookdeck Vercel middleware

Queues, filters, throttles and retries webhooks made to a Vercel app.

  • The SupaHooks app configuring outbound webhook endpoints

    CreatedHookdeck

    SupaHooks

A Next.js template that uses Hookdeck to send outbound webhooks.

  • An EventCatalog showing services and events generated from a Hookdeck project

    CreatedHookdeck

    EventCatalog generator

Generates an EventCatalog from a Hookdeck project's sources, destinations and events.

  • The leggetter.co.uk home page

    CreatedSide project

    leggetter.co.uk

This site, which I moved to Astro on Cloudflare in 2026, with 301s so that old links keep working.

  • CreatedHookdeck

    Hookdeck quickstarts

The code that goes with the quickstart guides in Hookdeck's docs.

  • CreatedSide project

    POTM

A player of the match voting app for sports teams, with no sign-up needed to vote.

  • CreatedSide project

    Discourse Forum Analyzer

A Python CLI that uses Claude to group the problems raised in a Discourse forum by type and severity.
